Conceptual and Design Studies
KCH offers a full consultancy service for clients who require
conceptual and design work for both new and existing systems. The
experienced personnel can conduct studies to determine the
optimum solution for a separation application using both in house
design software and state of the art simulation programs such as
Fluid CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).

KCH can also
supply separation technology for various other applications to
meet client’s requirements.
The internals can be used for both new build and retrofit
applications. The latter is a particular strength of KCH whereby
existing vessels can be fitted with high specification internals
to maximise performance and allow increased or alternative
throughputs without the necessity for a new vessel. This is of
particular use where flows and conditions change in a vessel due
to changing well properties or new tie-ins. Specific systems have
been developed for retrofits to allow the fitting of internals
without the need for welding to vessel wall. These include a
clamp ring design which has been used successfully in many
applications to date.
